Your adventure begins with a morning pickup from your Nairobi accommodation. We’ll journey through the scenic Great Rift Valley, pausing at the Rift Valley Viewpoint to capture panoramic vistas. Continuing to Lake Nakuru National Park, renowned for its vibrant birdlife and as a sanctuary for rhinos and Rothschild’s giraffes, we’ll enjoy a game drive en route to our lodge. After a delightful lunch, delve deeper into the park’s diverse ecosystems during an afternoon game drive. As the sun sets, relax over dinner and settle in for the night at your comfortable lodge.
After a hearty breakfast, depart for the tranquil Lake Naivasha. Upon arrival, check into your lodge and savor a leisurely lunch. In the afternoon, embark on a boat ride across Lake Naivasha’s serene waters, leading you to Crescent Island. Here, experience a guided walking safari among free-roaming animals such as giraffes, zebras, and wildebeests—an intimate encounter with nature rarely found elsewhere. Return to the lodge for dinner and a restful overnight stay.
Following breakfast, set out towards the world-famous Masai Mara National Reserve. The drive offers glimpses of Kenya’s diverse landscapes, arriving at our camp in time for lunch. After settling in, embark on an afternoon game drive, immersing yourself in the rich wildlife that calls the Mara home. As dusk falls, return to camp for dinner and an evening under the starlit African sky.
Rise with the sun for an early morning game drive, seizing the opportunity to witness predators in action and the savannah awakening. After breakfast back at camp, choose between relaxing or visiting a local Maasai village to engage with the community and learn about their enduring traditions (additional cost). Post-lunch, another game drive awaits, offering further chances to spot the Big Five and other wildlife. Conclude the day with dinner and storytelling around the campfire.
After breakfast, bid farewell to the Mara with a final game drive en route out of the reserve. The journey back to Nairobi includes a stop for lunch, aiming to arrive in the late afternoon. We’ll drop you off at your hotel or the airport, marking the end of an extraordinary safari experience with Javiva Adventures.
