At Javiva Adventures, we offer secure and convenient payment options for all safari tours, holiday packages, and travel experiences across East Africa. We accept bank transfers, online payments, and major credit and debit cards. Please note that credit card payments attract a 5% processing fee. For bank transfers, any transfer fees or bank charges will vary depending on the sending and receiving banks and are automatically deducted upon payment of the principle amount stipulated on our invoices. Cash payments may also be accepted by prior arrangement, although we recommend secure cashless payment methods for convenience and safety. Once your booking is confirmed, our team will provide detailed payment instructions to ensure a smooth, secure, and hassle-free booking experience.

For private road safaris, you will enjoy the services of the same professional driver-guide throughout your journey, ensuring a consistent and personalized travel experience. In some instances for shared safaris change of the professional guides happens due the different safari duration between the clients who are sharing the same vehicle or If your itinerary includes domestic or international flights between destinations, a different experienced guide may be assigned at your next location to ensure smooth transfers and the highest level of service.

Most safari lodges, tented camps, and hotels offer complimentary Wi-Fi in designated areas such as reception, lounges, or restaurants. Internet access is generally not available during game drives or inside national parks. You can charge your phones, cameras, and other electronic devices at your accommodation, while many safari vehicles also provide charging ports. We recommend carrying a power bank and universal travel adapter for added convenience.

For the best safari experience, we recommend packing in soft-sided luggage, which is easier to store in safari vehicles and small aircraft. For road safaris, each traveler should ideally carry one soft bag weighing up to 15 kg (33 lbs) plus a small personal backpack. If your itinerary includes domestic bush flights, baggage allowances are typically 15 kg (33 lbs) per person, including hand luggage. If you have extra luggage, Javiva Adventures can help arrange secure storage where available before your safari begins.

Yes. Javiva Adventures strongly recommends that every traveler purchase comprehensive travel and medical insurance before traveling. Your travel insurance should cover medical emergencies, trip cancellations, baggage loss or delays, personal liability, and emergency evacuation. We encourage all guests to arrange travel insurance in their home country before departure to ensure complete protection throughout their African safari or holiday.

Packing the right clothing and toiletries will help you stay comfortable throughout your safari or holiday. For most destinations, we recommend lightweight, breathable clothing for warm daytime temperatures and warmer layers for cool mornings and evenings. Recommended clothing: Lightweight cotton T-shirts, polo shirts, and shorts -Long-sleeved shirts and lightweight trousers for sun and insect protection -A warm sweater or fleece for early morning and evening game drives -A light waterproof jacket or windbreaker during the rainy season -Comfortable walking shoes or sneakers for excursions -Sandals or flip-flops for relaxing at your lodge or on the beach -A wide-brimmed hat or cap, sunglasses, and swimwear where applicable Essential toiletries: -Sunscreen (high SPF) and after-sun lotion -Insect repellent -Toothbrush and toothpaste -Shampoo, soap, deodorant, and personal hygiene products -Hairbrush or comb -Lip balm and moisturizer -Any personal prescription medication -Basic first-aid items such as pain relievers, anti-diarrheal medication, motion sickness tablets, and malaria medication if advised by your doctor.
