Murchison Falls is Uganda's largest national park. Here the Nile forces its way through a gap only about 7 metres wide and plunges down the falls with incredible power.
North of the river, open savannah holds giraffes, elephants, lions and buffalo; the river itself is full of hippos and crocodiles.
