Day by day

Day1

Nairobi to Old Moses Camp

Drive to Sirimon Gate and hike 3 hours to Old Moses Camp (3,300 m).

Day2

Old Moses to Shipton's Camp

Hike up the Mackinder Valley to Shipton's Camp (4,200 m) below the peaks.

Day3

Summit day

Pre-dawn climb to Point Lenana (4,985 m) for sunrise, then descend to Minto's Hut.

Day4

Minto's to Road Head

Walk down the Gorges Valley past Lake Michaelson to the Chogoria Road Head.

Day5

Back to Nairobi

Descend through the bamboo forest to Chogoria Gate and drive back to Nairobi.
