The Sheldrick Wildlife Trust rescues orphaned elephants from across Kenya and raises them until they can return to the wild. Its Nairobi nursery opens to visitors for one hour each day.
Watching the keepers bottle-feed the babies, and hearing each elephant's story, is one of the most memorable things to do in Nairobi.
